Only correction, today's US military is most certainly NOT "the most capable in world history',  Not even close.  The DOD of mid-late 80s holds that prize ,,, for now.  The PLA may grow even larger than that before the decade's out.

In point of fact, I'm not sure it's even the most powerful in the world today given the rot in our personnel.   It will be adequate for what they're being prepared for - mopping up deplorables in over 55 neighborhoods.  But in the South China Sea?
