To remind, some time ago (1) I concluded it is possible that Iran has contracted with North Korea for the manufacture of a small number of nuclear weapons.   North Korea initially launched on a plutonium bomb effort then switched to a uranium based program.  Iranian scientists, whose own nuclear bomb program was uranium based, were present at subsequent weapons tests.   Iran has funded Lil'l Kim's program.

Does Iran own a number of the more recently built bombs?  

Were some delivered when the 'war' mysteriously ended last year?  

Have some been hidden in cargo containers headed for US ports?

If the Mullah's are still alive and in charge of Iran on the 4th of July we're likely to find out.

But, simultaneously, President Trump has a big problem that has metastasized across key areas of his administration and policy.  Our "special friend" has had too much influence for too long.

He apparently believed Bibi and commenced war on Iran - for a second time - based on Israeli assurance there would be a popular uprising in Iran leading to a national security win for America.

That after believing he could eliminate the threat of a nuclear armed Iran with some bombing a year ago. Also at Bibi's prompting.

His handling of the MEGA/Epstein affair (just search MEGA in the little window top left) has been disastrous for anyone who wants to believe he can clean up government. Tulsi was singular bright light - and she's been taken care of.

My opinion of the CIA was largly formed as a young Naval Officer working in a 'cell' that was directly tied to the Agency. I was on campus at Langley often enough the retired Gunny Sargent guard at the entrance to the main building told me I could no longer use the convenient guest parking. Back then the agency was doing some amazing stuff, and yet, even with a personality like Casey as Director (whom we eventually had to prsonally brief for an hour), there were clearly agendas at work apart from Reagan's. That became very clear, in a personal way, when in my next assignment I was off Iran and parts of Deep State were hoping for US casualties to use as a casus belli (remarked on earlier in this blog). So my opinion of the linked article is, to a degree, qualified.

Alternatively, Nick Berg was a normal jewish kid from Philly, who traveled to an obsecure flight school to Oklahoma, happened to share an email account with 9/11 terrs while there, then, by coincidence, happened to travel, without visible reason, to Iraq and get beheaded by terrs associated with the same group years later.
