I recently explored the deconstruction model being applied to our military(1).

The abandonment of Americans, some even at the gate of the airport(2), and the adoption of a plan doomed from inception, regardless of the inevitable costs in the lives of our troops(3), clearly exposed how despicable and incompetent (for some both) our current national and military leadership is.  This was not simply stupid, there was malice.  This was no accident of fate.

There will be change.

There is righteous rage which can be used by the engineers of this deconstruction engine to forever mutate DOD into a facist/communist force of occupation in America - or - which could decant the military of the forces of 'progressivism', of which Austin and Milley are only the most visible.

This is no accident

Right now, in these terrible hours, our active duty military and generations of still dedicated 

former servicemembers are being subjected to these dynamics:

    At the top we have a SECDEF and CJCS, along with the senior staffers within DOD directing THE most self destructive and dishonorable action in Kabul while simultaneously managing programs highly corrosive to good order and discipline.

    At the grunt level our amazing young men and women in the combat arms are justifiably resentful, and  even fearful, of a mandatory 'jab' with a solution lacking ANY long term study on effects wrt reproduction, and with minor benefit compared to readily available therapeutics.   These young servicemembers from America's heartland are also required to attend indoctrination training antithetical to America's traditional cultural and religious beliefs.

    And, in the middle, junior and mid-grade officers are beginning to revolt and refuse their role in leading their men and women to death while facilitating the elimination of the very core values that provide the necessary resilience to win the fight, survive the battle, and remain dedicated to the nation they joined to serve.

Top down.       

Bottom up. 

         

Inside out.

     On the ground, it appears the Taliban and ISIS have a command of all the territory surrounding the 'military side' of Kabul Airport.

There is by now likely substantial light AAA and mortars sufficient to stop many aircraft from getting airborne - or, at least successfully getting away from the airport area.  

And the likelihood of another suicide attack - or many - is very high.

A clearer image

As a recreational shooter some years ago I needed a spotting scope to observe how I was doing on targets out to 300 yards.

What I came to appreciate was that a cheap optic could be found with adequate magnification, but proper resolution, clarity sufficient to see a .22 bullet hole at 100 yards, or an 8mm hole at 300, even on specialized target faces, was much, much more expensive to obtain.
