A veritable “Revolution in Military Affairs” eh? Logically the first step, given UAVs will inevitably in-flight refuel other UAVs, allowing a daisy chain of shooters and tankers to engage anywhere from a few bases, is to retire the multibillion dollar aircraft carrier. No carrier, no embarked air wing, no logistical tail ashore for either, and no requirement for escorts and their logistical tails either.
That should do a lot to free up resources and allow a substantial downsizing of out $T DOW as well.
