Make no mistake, this is NOT a public service announcement.  This is lawfare by Marxists artfully constructed to create dissension in the services.  Among the others making this video, retired US Navy Captain Mark Kelly is a traitor.  His action will likely put US troops more at risk.  Mark Kelly knows the business.  Mark Kelly knows Rules of Engagement (ROE) are written beforehand at the Flag Officer level.  Those decisions are reviewed by a ton of lawyers whose principal mandate is to see their boss isn't brought up for war crimes after the fact – not mission success with minimal risk to US troops and aircrews.   If the activity is needlessly risky to the troops, or violates the law, it is at the Flag level the objections are to be raised.  The individual F-18 driver or rifleman must NOT be burdened with split second analysis of UCMJ elements of offense or international drug control conventions.

(And, gee, how much better might have the disastrous defeat, err, withdraw, from Afghanistan been had some flag officers threatened their resignation if Bagram Airfield not be used as the primary site?  No career consequences there - all those 'leaders' are now on corporate boards and in think tanks.  God help Secretary Hegseth and Tulsi in their Augean task.)   

The CAPT's action was an intentional gross disservice to our nation and the men and women who wear our uniforms.  Kudos to his lawyers though, as CAPT (Ret.) Kelly artfully skirted direct sedition by ensuring to use the term “illegal” with regard to orders from the President and his duly appointed officers.  

Yeah, big thanks there CAPT!   Better leave out that extra ammo and pack your law library buddy.  Kelly and friends can't wait to see how cultural marxist, now in the middle ranks (West Point photo below is from some years ago) get creative in opposing the Commander in Chief with their interpretations of Rules of Engagement.  

The 'PSA' also makes the point - you can't shoot a protester.  Hmmm ... expecting any 'protests' Captain?  

 

When does the 'protest' become arson and a riot - and yes, you can shoot a rioter.  Who makes that decision?  You know damm well what's coming and are intentionally spreading confusion.
