Paging Dewey Clarridge ....

"Ukraine and Russia have accused each other of laying mines in the Black Sea, and in recent days, Turkish and Romanian military diving teams have defused stray mines around their waters."

From remarks on the above - "And, once the first mine was found Lloyds cancelled indemnification policies for every commercial vessel in the zone.  That means, the cost of shipping to and from the Russian black sea ports jumped 50 times over peace time shipping because owners have no insurance if ships are sunk."

Hmmm, would seem to impact Russia more.

Gee, which nation has a track record for such activity?

BIG question - laying mines other than a defensive field is an act of war.  CIA, which clearly hasn't worked for the American people for a long time, plainly wants a war.  Whose interests are they working for?

NB - and, what if Vlad returns the favor?   Say, off Kings Bay?
