When there is a defensive shooting there will be an assessment of - was the use of deadly force justified? Did the attacker demonstrate the ability, have the opportunity, and exhibit intent, adequate to justify being shot at.
President Trump's attack on Iran will eventually have to meet a similar analysis.
As I've written about, with numerous links to supporting information, for years on this blog my chief concern (besides the real question of Trump overstepping his constitutional authority) has been Iran receiving ready to use nuclear weapons from North Korea.
Iran’s real nuclear weapons production effort has long been in North Korea.
They co-funded li’l Kim’s production of weapons.
We’ve know it for years - it has always been a more likely source of nukes than the tunnels in Iran.
Some years ago, subsequent to their involvement, Kim went from a plutonium design to a uranium design.
There was a long run of weapons grade uranium production – more than 10 bombs worth.
Has Iran received any of these weapons? Will any be put on ships sailing from North Korea?
There were indications North Korea would provide the weapons last summer.
With a single flight from North Korea overflying their allies China and Afghanistan, the ability would exist. The opportunity to slip a boat with a device into port in San Francisco or New York cannot be eliminated with confidence. The intent to destroy the "Great Satan" has been demonstrated in bloody ways for decades.
So - is war justified? Has intelligence indicated the threat - to AMERICANS - of continued inaction cannot be endured?
Now, had I any confidence in the CIA I’d be less concerned. But this is clearly still the CIA Obama and Brennan built. Deep State, the TDS infected and marxist Dems, would rather see Americans die and fail over there than support Trump and our now engaged military.
And, as I've written about earlier here, the domestic terrorism situation has worsened greatly with open conflict. And, it's still Obama and Holder's FBI.
So, regardless of you politics - please pray for our troops, sailors, and aircrews. Pray their aim is true, pray they are brave, pray they survive battle. These are our sons and daughters, for some our grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Pray for the innocents likely at risk as the bombs fly. Pray victory is achieved now that a regime change has been decided on. And pray for President Trump to have Divine inspiration and be able to know what information he receives is true and which is false. As always we have mendacious 'allies' with their own agendas.
Gods will will be done. May He protect our warriors.
