During three tours of duty I frequently had to assist in the embarking of many VIPs to ships and aircraft carriers off the coast of Florida. They flew out in SH-2s, SH-3s, H-46s, SH-60Fs, MH-60 Rs and Ss, C-2s.
These folks were normally politicians but also included entertainers.
Know what? Not a one of them called themself a "Naval Aviator" when they got back.
