By analogy, almost all of us live like ants confronted by a cannonball on the ground. Perhaps, with the cooperation of all ants, we could bugde it.
Likely, not.
Meanwhile, there are a few ants diggin' beneath the cannonball and at the point of getting it rolling in a direction ... not really in control of which direction, and the momentum of the ball would, in an instant, be so great ALL ants, everywhere, won't be able to stop it.

They gloss over the enormity of the impact to the billions of folks in the job market worldwide. Not sure how AI will affect carpenters, plumbers and electricians, but there needs to be a lot of thought and planning before we get much further down the road. And I bet Sam Altman DOES have a bunker somewhere.
