9/11 - 25 years later

Twenty five years ago 15 Saudis, organized by a Saudi based in Afghanistan, attacked New York.

Today you get electronically strip searched and patted down at every airport, a Flock camera can look into your backyard, and a pro-Sharia, terrorist supporting moslem is mayor of New York.  

In late 2019, early 2020 the Communist government of China DELIBERATELY spread Covid-19 to the United States and Western Europe from Wuhan Province - after locking down all internal transportation into and out of that Province. 

In August our trade surplus with the godless CCP widened to $119B, and we're so rife with Chinese spys the deep relationship between the CCP and a woman who was a Labor Secretary under one Republican President, and Transportation Secretary under another, to say nothing of being the wife of a Senate Majority Leader, is hardly a surprise (1).

Has anything any administration - Republican or Democrat - really addressed the vulnerabilities exposed (ex. 2) or really punished the people behind 9/11 or WuF1u?  

The Democrats turned the Patriot Act into the means of creating a police state that surveilled their political enemies, the Republicans turned 9/11 into a financial rape of the country to enrich the makers of bombs and the folks who have gotten our kids killed in stupid little wars ever since.

UPDATE: The morning after (9/12/26)

Some thoughts after stewing over it for a long day and night (9/11-12/26) ...

When the buildings fell I was between jobs having been a migrant with a tie for an industry favorite IT company radically downsizing and immediately called my old boss, a senior leader in the intel community offering to hire up.  Busy as he was he took the call and said he'd get back to me.   
Two weeks later I called again, he was very, very busy working on creating his part of the monster we now have to live under, the product of "the Patriot Act".  

About a month after that (November I think) we spoke and he explained that although I was a "better than most" analyst in the rarefied level I had worked, my 'skills were cold war legacy' and the spool up time would be too long.

And so I  remained a retired 0017S - Intelligence Subspecialist, Significant Experience.   

Meh. Iranians tried to kill me in 1987, big Navy didn't want me back in 2001.  

They were persistent - in 2012 the "religion of peace" very nearly killed my son when he was wearing an Army uniform.  

Now the "red-green alliance"  (Communist-Islam) is a mortal danger to the US from within. 

How do I feel 'bout it all 25 years - and a day - later?

We had a chance.

The President should have declared Shia and Sunni Moslems as terrorists and terror supporting institutions, closed and sold the mosques in the US and provided the money from the sale to the families of the victims. If it would have led to a war then, we were far more ready for one then than now.  China was not yet nearly as strong and we were not by then  depleted after an additional 2 decades of stupid little wars.

It wasn't just our political leaders who failed. 

Our Christian religious leaders should have demanded the moslems, Shia and Sunni at least,  be called for what they were - and are - evil.  Not join in prayer at Yankee Stadium with Imam Ansari and Shamsi-Ali while the smoke was still rising from the rubble of the twin towers.  Even with the bodies and the smoke our Christian "leaders" refused to challenge evil for being what it was - and its agents are among us today in far greater numbers thanks to Obama and Biden.

Even a "community organizer" trained LCMS Pastor joined in, and he still doesn't get it to this day  Maybe when an islamic nuke goes off in DC?   

We need to be distant from our mendacious "friend" Israel, but we need to treat evil, including Islamic evil, for what it is.
